Tutor led life drawing class for mixed ability learners. Students will be studying a variety of poses. Drawing techniques will be explored in combination with a variety of mediums; charcoal, pastel, ink and washes.
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience. These instructed sessions will comprise of drawing, tonal values, and the grey scale, drawing from life, composition, still life, and more.
This course is suitable for anyone who has completed the Beginners class or those who have had previous experience in watercolours. We will focus on improving on different ways of applying paint, uses of brush strokes and techniques, along with colour mixing and composition.
The course aims to help you develop new skills, improve existing skills and work towards developing independent thinking and creativity in a supportive environment.
A mixture of weekly exercises to experience a variety of materials and ways of working; two opportunities to draw directly from observation of a model... Also a mini project to explore a theme ...where you may progress to more independent work. The theme will be a guided choice.

This course will suit anyone with a broad knowledge of watercolour techniques who wants to expand their knowledge of this medium. Techniques will include different ways of using wet-in-wet washes, drawing with brushes and other implements, combining watercolour with other media.
This course is designed for complete beginners or those who wish to refresh their skills by practising the basics. Demonstrations, examples and individual help will introduce students to each topic and make paintings starting from landscapes, light and shade and autumn trees.
