CheckoutThe course is suitable for all levels; participants will need to have a good degree of manual strength in both hands.
Students will be provided with guidance and written instructions (to take away, if needed) on how to make a 25cm or 30cm drum (round) lampshade.
Full kits will be provided, including all tools and glue.
Students will need to bring along at least ½ metre of fabric, preferably cotton or linen. Students can bring several pieces of material in order to decide on the day, which they would like to use. Upholstery fabric is NOT suitable as is leather or any thick material.
The course is taught by one-to-one contact between the student and tutor within the group setting of the workshop.
Learning methods will include instruction, explanation, demonstrations and group/individual discussions.
